Carrie Anne Fleming has died at the age of 51 following a breast cancer diagnosis

Carrie Anne Fleming, an actress best known for her TV roles in series includingiZombieandSupernatural, has died. She was 51.
Fleming's representative told PEOPLE in a statement that Fleming died in Canada on Feb. 26, following a breast cancer diagnosis.
"She died peacefully with her loved ones by her side," her representative said. "It was a great privilege to have known Carrie. She was a beautiful soul, inspiring, and above all, kind. She will be greatly missed."
Jim Beaver, who played Fleming's husband onSupernatural, shared a post onFacebookearlier this month, recalling how the pair "met cute" on the set of the show and bonded over having daughters with the exact same names.
"She was a powerhouse of vitality and goodwill and amazingly good nature, with a rapturous laugh and an utterly adorable personality that didn't seem to have an off switch," Beaver, 75, wrote of his on-screen wife and off-screen friend.
Fleming was born on August 16, 1974, in Digby, Nova Scotia. She later moved to British Columbia, where she studied drama at Victoria's Kaleidoscope Theatre and the Kidco Theatre Dance Company, according toVarietyandThe Hollywood Reporter.

The actress broke into the industry with roles in various TV series, includingViper,and films, such asHappy Gilmore,before finding a niche as a horror TV star.
Throughout her career, Fleming made appearances on horror shows includingMasters of Horror, The Tooth Fairy and Bloodsuckers.Fleming starred as the recurring character of Karen Singer onSupernatural —the wife of main character Bobby Singer, played by Beaver — and later appeared as Candy Baker on the CW'siZombie.

The actress also had several stage credits to her name, from productions such asNoises Off,Romeo and JulietandSteel Magnolias, to name a few.
Her many other TV credits includedSupergirl, UnREAL,Continuum,Alice,Knights of Bloodsteel,The 4400,The L Word,Smallville,The Dead Zone,Stargate SG-1andSecret Agent Man.
Fleming is survived by her daughter, Madalyn Rose.
