Watch the Artemis II crew reenact the “Full House” opening credits: 'We are cracking up up here'

The Artemis II crew was apparently nostalgic for Earth on Sunday, as they did their own version of the opening credits of '80s TV comedyFull House.

They looked at paperwork only to look up and smile right on time, gave the camera a smile or a wave, even shared a laugh with others, with their name underneath, just like TV audiences of yesterday were used to seeing in a video shared by the official account of NASA. There was even a cameo by Rise, the zero-gravity indicator.

But in case anyone was confused, Commander Reid Wiseman explained.

"We were doing scenes from bad '80s sitcoms when they introduce the cast of characters," he said. "So that’s why we all did those, and we are cracking up up here.”

The video was given a cheeky caption.

"Everywhere you look, everywhere you go—there’s the Artemis II crew," it read. "These four astronauts are currently on their way to fly around the Moon in NASA's Orion capsule, which is roughly comparable to two minivans. You could say it's a full house!"

After all, commander Reid Wiseman, pilot Victor Glover, mission specialist Christina Koch, and mission specialist Jeremy Hansen from the Canadian Space Agency wanted to have some fun during their very serious mission of flying around the moon. Sunday marked the astronauts' fifth day of 10 total they are expected to spend on their journey.

Starring the late Bob Saget, as well as Dave Coulier, John Stamos, Candace Cameron Bure, Jodie Sweetin, and Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen, the comedy depicted a non-traditional family living under one roof.

Stamos, for one, appeared amused to have been included.

Officially titled "Everywhere You Look," the very catchy tune was co-written by Jesse Frederick and Bennett Salvay. The musicians also came up with the tracks for other sitcoms of the era, too, includingFamily MattersandPerfect Strangers, another TGIF title.

While promoting the upcoming reunion of much of the cast, Cavallari explained that, in fact, she doesn't think the show would have worked without it.

When asked if she wished that she and Conrad would have shared an on-camera conversation back in the day, as they do on the reunion, Cavallari said no.

"I think it, honestly, worked out exactly how it was supposed to," Cavallari said in an interview withExtra. "I think that was sort of the allure was Lauren and I against each other, so I don't know if you put us together, I don't know what would have happened. Maybe we just would have made peace and then we wouldn't have had a show."

Over the years, both women have explained that their feelings about many things were blown out of proportion for drama's sake. And after all, they were teenagers.

Back in 2016, Cavallari toldBuzzfeedthat the series certainly hadn't been a good thing for them.

"I think because of the show, the rivalry between Lauren and I sort of escalated. We were never friends. We just weren't," Cavallari said. "I didn't hate her before MTV came and the way it sort of turned into. And that's because I felt like she was trying to steal my boyfriend."

Fans of the series knew about the upcoming truce between the women, after theyposed for photos togetheron the red carpet for the reunion premiere and Cavallari teased it on her podcast,Let's Be Honest with Kristin Cavallari.

They also told PEOPLE that all was well between them — really — while promoting their project.

"It was part of what we wanted to show is that we've all grown, we're all adults, a lot of us are parents," Conrad said. "And I think that as you get older, you're not worried about the small stuff."

Cavallari that hadn't "had any beefs for the last however many years." She added, "We're adults. We've all moved past it, but I think it's nice and to show everybody that we've moved past it is going to be really therapeutic in a lot of ways."

Colletti, the former object of their affection, toldEntertainment Weeklylast month that, until recently, he was still hearing about one of the major topics of the popular show.

"Back in the day, I mean, I had guys that wanted to fight me," he said. "I had people just yelling Kristin or Lauren's name from across the street and offering their advice on dating. All sorts of weird interactions."

Times have changed, he said.

"As years have gone on, people would approach me and they're much more reflective about it," Colletti said. "They'll be like, 'You know what? I remember watching the show and it was interesting to relate to what you guys had going on.' And to me, when you hear that, 'Man, that's why I'm even in this business.'"

Wireless Festival canceled after UK bars rapper Ye over antisemitic remarks

LONDON (AP) — The rapper formerly known asKanye Westwas barred Tuesday from entering the U.K., where he was scheduled to headline theWireless Festivalin July, after a backlash over Ye's history of antisemitic remarks.

Associated Press

Festival organizers canceled the three-day outdoor event as a result of the travel ban and said those who had bought tickets would get refunds.

Ye applied for an electronic travel authorization to visit the U.K., but it was blocked by the government on the grounds that his presence in the country would not be “conducive to the public good.”

“Kanye West should never have been invited to headline Wireless,” Prime Minister Keir Starmer said in a statement posted on social media. “This government stands firmly with the Jewish community, and we will not stop in our fight to confront and defeat the poison of antisemitism. We will always take the action necessary to protect the public and uphold our values.”

The rapper, who changed his name in 2021, had been expected to play his first U.K. dates for more than a decade in front of around 150,000 revelers over three nights July 10-12 at the Wireless Festival, in London’s Finsbury Park. Other acts for the festival had not yet been announced.

The event's organizers had been under mounting pressure from sponsors and politicians to cancel the gigs by the rapper, who has drawnwidespread condemnationfor making antisemitic remarks and voicing admiration for Adolf Hitler.

Last year, Ye released a song called “Heil Hitler” and advertised a swastika T-shirt for sale on his website. Officials in Australia canceled the musician's visa in July after the release of the single.

The 48-year-old apologized in January with a letter, published as a full-page advertisement in The Wall Street Journal. He said his bipolar disorder led him to fall into “a four-month long, manic episode of psychotic, paranoid and impulsive behavior that destroyed my life.”

Wireless sponsors Pepsi, Rockstar Energy and Diageopulled out of the festivalsince Ye was announced as the headliner.

In a statement issued Tuesday before his travel authorization was revoked, Ye said he “would be grateful for the opportunity to meet with members of the Jewish community in the U.K. in person, to listen.

“I know words aren’t enough — I’ll have to show change through my actions,” he said. “If you’re open, I’m here.”

Phil Rosenberg, president of the Board of Deputies of British Jews, had said the group would be willing to meet with the musician if he pulled out of the festival.

“The Jewish community will want to see a genuine remorse and change before believing that the appropriate place to test this sincerity is on the main stage at the Wireless Festival,” Rosenberg said.

Organizer Festival Republic had stood by Ye. In a statement issued Monday, managing director Melvin Benn urged people to offer the performer “forgiveness and hope.”

“We are not giving him a platform to extol opinion of whatever nature, only to perform the songs that are currently played on the radio stations in our country and the streaming platforms in our country and listened to and enjoyed by millions,” the statement said.

Announcing the cancellation, Festival Republic said that “multiple stakeholders were consulted in advance of booking Ye and no concerns were highlighted at the time.

“Antisemitism in all its forms is abhorrent, and we recognize the real and personal impact these issues have had,” it said in a statement. “As Ye said today, he acknowledges that words alone are not enough, and in spite of this still hopes to be given the opportunity to begin a conversation with the Jewish community in the U.K.”

The Community Security Trust, which works to protect British Jews, said the government had made the right decision.

“Anti-Jewish hatred should have no place in society and cultural leaders have a role to play in ensuring that is the case,” it said in a statement.

“People who show genuine and meaningful remorse for previous antisemitic behavior will always receive a sympathetic hearing from the Jewish community, but that process must come before this kind of public rehabilitation.”

A representative for Ye didn’t reply to a request for comment.
