Then, the pop singer turned his set into a makeshift “music video night,” pulling up YouTube on a laptop and singing along to fan favorites from some of his earliest albums, including “Baby,” “Favorite Girl,” and “That Should Be Me.”

He even searched clips from before his ascent to stardom, performing alongside videos of himself as a tween, singing songs like Ne-Yo’s “So Sick” and “With You” by Chris Brown. (He wasn’t afraid to poke a little fun at himself either, playing clips that saw him falling on stage at a concert and running into a glass door.)

During the set, the Grammy winner brought out a few surprise guests, including Dijon, Tems, Mk.gee, Wizkid, and the Kid Laroi. In the audience, his wife,Hailey, danced alongside fans in the crowd.

If you’re looking to check out clips from the performance, theofficial Coachella YouTube accounttypically uploads videos around 24 hours after the set has taken place (keep checking back here for more updates as videos arrive). Who is automatically registered for the military draft?

Virtually all male U.S. citizens and immigrants ages 18-25 are required to register for the draft, even those who believe they would be exempt from serving, according to the SSS website. Eligible men will soon be automatically registered for the draft instead of having to sign up manually.

Men who are serving in the military on full-time active duty continuously from ages 18 through 26 do not have to register for the draft. Those who are hospitalized or incarcerated continuously on or before their 18th birthday through age 25 are also exempt. Men who are on non-immigrant visas are exempt, according to the SSS website, as long as they remain on a valid visa up until they turn 26.

The Military Selective Service Act only requires draft registration for men. Women can enlist in active duty combat in order to serve.

What is the military draft age limit?

Eligible men must register within 30 days of their 18th birthday, according to the SSS website. The agencysaidit accepts registrations after that up until a man reaches his 26thbirthday.

Soldiers assigned to the U.S. Army Reserve’s 1st Mission Support Command await clearance to enter a shooting range during a live-fire training exercise at Camp Santiago in Salinas, Puerto Rico, on Jan. 10, 2026.

When does automatic military draft registration take effect?

The agency will implement the switch to automatic registration by December, according to SSSwebsite.

What changed from previous draft rules?

The agency is moving to an automatic registration process, rather than requiring eligible men to sign up manually. According to the SSSwebsite, the change "transfers responsibility for registration from individual men to SSS through integration with federal data sources."

Does this mean there's going to be a military draft?

Thewar and current ceasefire in Iranhas sparked renewed questions about whether the U.S. willenact a military draft.

In a March 8interviewon Fox News, White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt said bringing back the draft is "not part of the current plan right now," but she added that PresidentDonald Trump"keeps his options on the table."

There is no draft at present and there has not been an active military draft since 1973,according to the SSS.Returning to an active draft would require Congress to amend theMilitary Selective Service Act, according to SSS.

What has Trump said about a military draft?

A USA TODAY reviewof Trump's appearances and interviews in early March indicated he had not commented publicly on the possibility of enacting a draft around that time. But in aSeptember 2024 Truth Socialpost during the campaign, Trump described a vote for his opponent, former Vice PresidentKamala Harris, as a vote for bringing back the draft.

"A VOTE FOR PRESIDENT DONALD J. TRUMP IS A VOTE FOR PROSPERITY & PEACE," Trump wrote.

98 Degrees had 'age of consent' guide for each state on tour bus, Nick Lachey says

Doesn't get more '90s than this!Nick Lachey, the frontman of98 Degrees, is recalling that the boy band was reminded to stay cognizant of which girls they encountered were of age.

"This is going to sound super shady, but when we first went out," Lachey recalls in ID documentaryBoy Band Confidential. "I remember our first tour, someone at the label gave us a book, and it was the age of consent in every state." They "kept that book on the tour bus."

Get your daily dose of entertainment news, celebrity updates, and what to watch with ourEW Dispatch newsletter.

Lachey and his fellow bandmates Drew Lachey (also Nick's brother), as well as Jeff Timmons and Justin Jeffre, made up the group, which produced hits such as "The Hardest Thing," "Because of You," and "I Do (Cherish You)."

By 1999, he had coupled up with another up-and-coming singer,Jessica Simpson, whom he married in 2002 and with whom he costarred in the reality smashNewlyweds: Nick & Jessicabeginning in 2003. They divorced in 2006.

Lachey is now the host ofLove Is Blind, alongside his wife Vanessa Lachey, whom he married in 2011, in addition to continuing to work with 98 Degrees.

In November 2024, Timmons recalled that, at the time Lachey referenced, the fandom was wild.

"Fans would sneak on our tour bus and we wouldn't even know they were there until the next city,"Timmons saidin the docLarger than Life: Reign of the Boybands. "We ordered room service and they were in the room service cart and popped out."

He added that, "Some things are a little too crazy to talk about."

Lachey explained inBoy Band Confidentialthat, at the same time teenage girls were swooning over their sweet sounds and choreography, the guys were struggling financially.

"98 Degrees, we signed withMotownand we got a very nominal advance on our contract," Lachey said. "We knew that all expenses were recoupable and so we took the opposite approach [from other bands]."

They were frugal, taking the approach, "'Hey, we're not paying for anything. We'll take a break, go around the corner to Wendy's, and go back to the studio.'"

There were no fancy cars either.

"At the end of the session at 4:00 a.m., we're not going to get a car service back to Brooklyn," Lachey said. "We'll take the A train back to Brooklyn, in the middle of winter. The four of us, at 4 in the morning, standing in the subway station."
